Terms for using BestCloseBy

BestCloseBy is operated by INITIATOR LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. By using BestCloseBy, creating an account, buying credits, or building a live shortlist, you agree to these terms.

BestCloseBy creates ranked nearby shortlists using user-selected locations, categories, filters, Google Places data, and app-derived ranking signals. The service is designed to help compare options faster, not to guarantee that a place is open, available, safe, suitable, or the absolute best choice.

Business information can be incomplete, stale, inaccurate, capped, or unavailable. Confirm important details directly with the business before relying on them.

BestCloseBy uses Google Maps Platform and Google Places data. Your use of Google-powered features is also subject to applicable Google terms, including the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Places content is also subject to Google Maps Platform service rules and attribution requirements.

Live searches require an account and credits. One credit covers one metered Google Places request. A live shortlist starts with 1 credit and can use additional credits when the app checks extra pages, categories, or coverage variants. One live shortlist is capped at 18 credits.

New accounts do not receive free live credits by default. Sample results and walkthroughs may use demo or cached non-billable data. Credits are attached to the account, not to an IP address, VPN state, or browser fingerprint.

Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices, credit quantities, and currencies are shown before checkout. Credits do not expire in the early-launch version unless an account is closed, refunded, reversed, suspended for abuse, or otherwise handled as required by law.

Refund requests are handled case by case. If a payment is refunded, disputed, reversed, or found to be fraudulent, related credits may be removed or the account may be limited.

Do not scrape, bulk harvest, resell, or redistribute Google Places content or BestCloseBy outputs. Do not try to bypass billing, automate abusive searches, overload the service, probe private APIs, share accounts for metered access, reverse engineer billing controls, or use the service in a way that violates Google, Stripe, Supabase, or hosting-provider rules.

BestCloseBy is an early-launch service. Features, pricing, credit pack sizes, ranking logic, Google coverage behavior, limits, and availability may change. We may rate-limit, pause, or refuse requests to protect the service, control costs, comply with provider rules, or investigate misuse.
